Team Gilda Mini Marathon Training

Looking for a challenge? Want to help out a great cause? Join Team Gilda and train with us for the Kentucky Derby Festival's Mini Marathon. All are welcome - runners, walkers, first-timers and experienced participants alike!

Team Gilda training begins Saturday, January 9th and goes until the Mini Marathon on Saturday, April 24th.  We meet at Gilda's Club at 9am and stretch all-together before heading out.  After the day's long walk/run, we encourage everyone to stick around, chat, and refuel in the kitchen. 

Below are the training plans you will use to prepare for the race.  Be sure to stay on top of your walks/run during the week.  For a little added support, we will meet on the Wednesdays of weeks 4,6,8, and 10 at 6pm at Hogan's Fountain in Cherokee Park for those who would like to get together for their Wednesday walk/run.
